Beginner Skating
Stress-free skating opportunities for those wanting to learn or improve on their skating abilities. Skate aides will be provided for participants of all ages.

Participants must wear skates on the ice at all times. No shoes/boots are allowed onto the ice surface. No strollers, chairs, sporting equipment or toboggans are allowed onto the ice surface.
It is required that skaters 12 years of age and under wear CSA approved helmets while on the ice. It is also recommended that all other participants where helmets as well. Parents are to carefully supervise children learning to skate and are encouraged to be on the ice with them. Carrying infants while on the ice is not permitted.
Approved skate aide equipment is provided for those individuals that require assistance. Please inform facility staff if assistance is required for wheelchair access.
Please skate at a safe, controlled speed in the same direction as other participants. Refrain for participating in dangerous maneuvers, horse play and rough housing. Parents are to carefully supervise children learning to skate and are encouraged to be on the ice with them.
