Non-market housing is typically referred to as "Attainable Housing", to describe the wide range of housing needs that are addressed. This type of housing differs from market-housing in that it provides some level of financial support to the homeowner or tenant, and is some cases, social support as well. Attainable Housing Committee
The City of Leduc maintains an Attainable Housing Committee that advises City Council on local Attainable Housing matters, as well as works on implementing the strategies outlined in the City of Leduc 2008 Attainable Housing Strategy (pdf).
